COVID-19 Protocol Update

12/31/2021

Dear Congregation,

With a recent spike in COVID-19 positivity rate we encouraging ALL individuals to wear face masks and limit personal contact during worship. At this point unvaccinated people are still required to wear masks, but we are strongly encouraging vaccinated folks to wear them as well.

Since the beginning of this pandemic we have learned how unpredictable this virus can be and we all know how great it has been to return to in-person worship. It is our hope and goal that we will not have to return to online only worship. Therefore, this Sunday (January 2nd, 2022) we are asking you to please consider wearing a face mask and limit contact with one another so that we can weather this current spike and continue meeting in-person.

As Methodists, we know that our general rules for behavior are: to do no harm, to do all the good you can, and to attend upon all the ordinances of God. This means that when we worship together, as we are supposed to do, we should do so seeking to cause no harm and do good.

I look forward to worshipping with you this Sunday whether it is online or in-person. Even if I will see only half of your face!

In God's grip,

Rev. Chuck Church

Senior Pastor of Lake Cities United Methodist Church
