BEAU TAFT
Lake Cities United Methodist Church Youth Director Beau
grew up in a military family, which of course moved around a lot when
he was growing up. After graduating high school in Poolesville, Maryland,
he went off to college and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Religion
from McMurry University in Abilene, Texas. Beau started in youth ministry in the 1998-1999 school year as an intern at First UMC in Abilene, and since then has served in several congregations before coming to Lake Cities UMC in April of 2008. Outside of working and teaching with students, Beau’s interests include music, especially playing guitar and singing, as well as playing sports and taking his oldest son fishing. Beau is married to Chelsea, his beautiful wife, and they have two sons, Noah and Jackson. |
