Youth Director

Lewis Worthington is filling in as our Interim Youth Director. Lewis has worked with youth in many capacities for almost 30 years in ministry. He has directed youth trips (music & mission) throughout the US and Canada. He has also taught Confirmation, Youth Disciple, and Youth Bible Studies.

He met his wife, Mary, while they were both working at Broadmoor UMC in Baton Rouge. Mary was the Asst Youth Director and Lewis was the Director of Youth Arts Ministries (Choirs, Bands, Handbells, Dance, and Visual Arts). Lewis and Mary have been married for 16 years and have 2 daughters: Madison (Sophomore) and Corinne (3rd grader).

Lewis and Mary are HUUUUUUGE LSU fans and look forward to teaching the youth several of the more polite cheers.
