Lake Cities United Methodist Church offers fun, fellowship and spiritual growth to middle school students, grades 6 - 8, through Mission Trips, Sunday School, Community Service projects, Youth Group, Retreats, Summer camp and much, much more!!

Sunday Morning Bible Study

We love youth, and our youth programs are staffed with caring and gifted leaders. Middle School Sunday School is offered to youth in 6th - 8th grades starting at 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. in the Middle School room of our upstairs Youth Lounge. From 9:45 to 10:00 a.m. is fellowship time and breakfast is provided to the youth.

Courtney Tankersley has been teaching our Middle School Sunday School for over 10 years. She is dedicated to the youth and loves and cares about them and their spiritual growth.

Parents are encouraged to volunteer for one month to be a second adult in our Middle School Sunday Morning Bible Class.

Sunday Night Youth Group

Our Middle School Youth Group meets on Sunday Evenings during the school year from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in our Youth Lounge. Our time of fellowship and growth is spent in a environment where the youth are excited and loved for who they are and talents they have by each other as well as our adult leaders.

We have a wide variety of activities during our Youth Group time together including praising God through song, bible study, team building, fun and fellowship. All middle school / junior high students grades 6 - 8 are welcome to join the group!

Parents are asked to volunteer for one month through out the school year to be a second (or third) adult for the group meeting time. Also, parents are asked on a once-a semester basis to prepare the Sunday Evening meal that is offered at 6:00pm prior to youth.

On Sunday Evenings at 6:00pm before Middle School Youth we serve dinner for $3.00 per person. Dinner is prepared and served by a family in our church.
