SUZIE MILLER
Lake Cities United Methodist Church Administrative Assistant
Suzie
was born and raised in California and received her Bachelor's degree in
Liberal Studies from California State University Bakersfield. She worked
on her Master's in Behavioral Science for a short while before meeting
her husband Grant, getting married, and starting a family. They have been
married for 20 years and have three children -- Danika, Austin, and Kalista.
In her spare time, she and her husband enjoy spending time together watching their children participate in school and club sports. Suzie is proud of her children who have excelled both athletically and academically. Her daughter Danika is currently attending Wichita State University on softball and academic scholarships after being ranked in the top 100 softball players nationwide, and her son Austin is an exceptional runner who participates in cross country and track for LDHS while also running in 5Ks and 10Ks all over Texas. Not to be outdone, her youngest daughter, Kalista, is proving to be a very talented young soccer player. Besides spending time with family, Suzie's other interests include running, nutrition, naturopathic medicine, visiting California, relaxing at the beach, and reading about and researching topics of interest. She especially enjoys spending time searching the scriptures and listening to sermons online. Suzie and her family have only lived in Lake Dallas for four short years, but thoroughly enjoy Texas and feel very at home here. They enjoy the kindness of the people they've met, the new friends they've made, and the family-friendly atmosphere. She is thankful for all the blessings God has given her and her family. |
