VBS registration is closing Thursday at 5pm. Make sure to register SOON. Everything is filling up fast!! There is a link to register online from the church's website.

VBS Requests: We are in need of one wheel barrow to borrow for VBS week. If you have one you could lend us please contact myself or Dorothea. Also, this year we had many of the supplies already that we needed to run our VBS week. And for snacks this year we are doing fresh fruits and bakery items so we haven't asked for donations of these because we want them to be fresh that week. But if you would like to still contribute to VBS snacks we are taking monetary donations to purchase these snacks during the week. Thank you for all your support.
Summer Sunday School announcement!! - Dorothea will be teaching a combined Sunday school class for all children's ages throughout the summer in the FLC but is in need of adult helpers every week. If there is a week or two that you would like to help, please contact myself or Dorothea to sign up. Our theme for the summer is The 10 Commandments. This Sunday we are going to learn about Commandments 3 & 4.
Wednesday, June 16th - COGs 5:45pm - 7:15pm. Dinner ($3 donation) this week will be pizza and we will be meeting in fellowship hall. This week we will be playing with bubbles...Please just us as we continue our program throughout the summer. Lots of fun!!! A great time to fellowship with your friends!

Looking ahead this summer:
Throughout the summer, Children's Ministries will be raising funds to support Imagine No Malaria, which is an initiative of the people of The United Methodist Church to raise $75 million to eliminate malaria deaths in Africa by 2015. In partnership with our brothers and sisters in Africa, the gifts and resources shared through Imagine No Malaria will empower an entire continent to achieve a sustainable victory over the disease. The Children's Missions Bake Sale on June 27th is our first fundraising effort. If you would like to contribute a baked good please sign-up on the Children's Ministries bulletin board so we make sure we have plenty of goodies to sell. Keep your eye out for more fundraising activities
Sunday, July 11th - Main Event 6pm. Join us for Bowling and Glow Golf at Main Event in Lewisville. $15/person for games and pizza. Please sign up with Dorothea no later than Sunday, July 4th. This is a family event so all are welcome to come and bring your families!
Wednesday, July 14th - We are going to Six Flags! Deadline to sign up is Sunday, June 27th. If you would like to go please sign up with Dorothea or on the bulletin board. The cost is $30/person. Even if you/your student has season passes to Six Flags we still need them to sign up so we can arrange adequate transportation. Join us for this fun event!
